weird night in Beijing

Last night was very strange here in Beijing, everyone was getting ready and now in the olympic spirit, there wasent a time all night that you didint here fireworks going off. It was a very interesting expierience to go through. we are 15 hours from the first game of the Beijing Olympics, Womens soccer, so stay tuned ill have that live here on my blog and my twitter account.

My Interview with Michael Phelps

I have finished my interview with olympic swimmer Michael Phelps. He is a very nice guy who was very friendly throughout the process. Michael told me all about how he trained, and how he feels about his attempt for 8 golds in 7 days.

He seems very prepared and it was proven in the setting of our interview, poolside. I came in and he was swimming (It was 8:30 Beijing time) and then we spent 3 hours talking and I left and he went right back in the pool. The interview will be played on my radio station which apparently im not supposed to mention because of rights and BLAH BLAH BLAH but Hint:its in the San Francisco area!!!!! and I am the traffic reporter there.

The USA will kick off their olympic expierience Wednesday morning at about 7 am EST against Norway in womens soccer. Before that i will be here covering the other Soccer games starting at 5 am est

Torch Relay

The torch relay continues through Sichuan, I am watching live on my tv here in Beijing. There are pandas dancing right now. So weird.

Michael Phelps

I am hearing that Michael Phelps recently arrived in Beijing and is steering away from Media, We`ll see how that works when i have the scheduled interview with him in 2 hours. What should I ask him?


LIVE FROM BEIJING ITS TUESDAY MORNING

My plan

I will be blogging live from Beijing From now until the end of the olympics, and when i get back home to the USA I hope to continue this. I will be following many events, starting with womens soccer. First match is at 5:00 AM EST wednesday morning, there are about 6 matches scheduled for wednesday in Womens Soccer and 6 matches scheduled for Thursday in Mens Soccer. Im following it all along with everything else.



We are also on Tyson Gay watch. One of my fellow reporters had a phone interview with him earlier but he wouldent tell us his plans, we are expecting him tommorow, Today in Beijing. Hopefully.


I will have exclusive coverage of all olympic events right here from now on
